Japan stabbing horror: ‘Bag of bloody knives’ carried by attacker after disabled facility rampage

A suspect detained after a stabbing attack in Japan was carrying a bag full of knives and other sharp tools, according to the latest reports. He was allegedly able to kill and injure a third of the patients at a facility for the disabled near Tokyo.

The stabbing attack took place at the Tsukui Yamayuri En (Tsukui Lily Garden) facility in the city of Sagamihara in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture on Tuesday at around 2:30 am local time, leaving at least 19 people dead and 26 injured, 20 critically, local media quoted police and firefighters as saying.

The dead victims, who ranged from 18 to 70 years of age, included nine men and ten women, according to reports citing the local fire department.

Family including a child burned alive for trying to flee ISIS held territory

KIRKUK – A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Sunday that the ISIS executed three from the same family, including a little girl, while they were trying to escape from the southwest areas of the province.

Sharing details the source said, “This evening, ISIS burned a family of three (father, mother and a two-year-old girl) while they were trying to escape from the organization’s grip in Rashad village (35 km southwest of Kirkuk),” adding “The family was walking through Hamrin mountains to al-Alam village in Salahaddin province.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “ISIS has deployed members to arrest families that run away from ISIS sites southwest of Kirkuk.”
