ISRAELI ARMY STRIKES TARGETS IN GAZA FOLLOWING NEW ROCKET ATTACK BY PALESTINIAN FIGHTERS

IMAGE: Reuters In the early hours of March 31, the Israeli military struck targets inside the Gaza Strip following the launch of several rockets from the besieged Palestinian region. “5 rockets were launched from Gaza at Israel,” the Israeli military said on Twitter, without providing any addition information. Palestinian sources said that the Israeli artillery strike targeted at least one observation post of the Hamas Movement east of the area of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip. Initial reports indicate that no one was injured or killed as a result of the strike. This new escalation came only hours after a fresh wave of protests by civilians along the separation fence around the Gaza Strip. NEW PHOTOS GIVE FIRST GLIMPSE OF MODERNIZED TURKISH LEOPARD 2A4 TANK

The Turkish military blog,  SavunmaSanayiST , released several photos on March 30 showing a modernized Turkish Leopard 2A4 main battle tank (MBT). The local Turkish upgrade package added a completely modern armour suit for the German-made MBT, which was first introduced in the late 70s. The Turkish Armed Forces operate more than 350 tanks of the 2A4 type. On March 26, the Federal Security Service (FSB) detained former Russian minister Mikhail Abyzov. The Investigative Committee accuses Abyzov of organizing a criminal group and, together with other individuals, embezzling 4 billion rubles ($62 million) from two energy companies supplying electricity to the Novosibirsk region in Siberia. Abyzov, 46, was minister for open government affairs in Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s cabinet until 2018. He was tasked with coordinating cooperation between the government and representatives of civil society and the business community. FIRE AT SECURITY SERVICE HQ CONTINUED SERIES OF ‘ACCIDENTS’ TARGETING VENEZUELA INFRASTRUCTURE

It serves as the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN). Guaido’s arrested chief of staff Roberto Marrero was also held there,  according to a report by Te Lo Cuento. There has been no official announcement by the Venezuelan authorities as of the morning of March 29 th .
