Thousands of corpses discovered in 72 ISIS mass graves across Syria and Iraq

As territory held by the Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria continues to shrink, more and more evidence of the militant group’s atrocities have been uncovered with a total of 72 mass graves discovered holding thousands of dead. The Associate Press reported that 72 mass graves had been discovered in the most extensive survey carried of its kind. The known number of the dead buried in the unmarked pits, and known only to a handful of witnesses and ISIS itself, is believed to number between 5,200 to 15,000. The highest number of graves have been found in Iraq’s Sinjar province where ISIS carried out what has been described as a genocide against Yazidis. Sinjar Mountain itself is reportedly dotted with mass graves, six of them containing more than 100 people. One witness to the atrocities in Sinjar, who peered through binoculars as ISIS carried out its extermination, told the AP about handcuffed men from nearby villages being shot and then buried by a waiting bulldozer. The burials las...

Darayya treaty concluded, Muaddamiyah to follow soon

Damascus, Syria (2:16 A.M.) – The Syrian Army enabled the exit of over 300 civilians from the families of Darayya who lived in the neighboring Muaddamiyah in Western Ghouta resulting in the full conclusion of the Darayya treaty. Al-Masdar’s correspondent was informed through exclusive sources that this step was in the shadow of an agreement that demands the surrender of the militants occupying the town of Muaddamiyah along with their weapons. Under the Amnesty granted by the executive office of the Syrian Arab Republic, the rebels would reclaim their citizen status and be relieved from the lawful consequences of their insurgency. “The agreement in Muaddamiyah will enter execution pages after placing its last thumbprints while regular residents of the city would not need to leave for the refuge centers.” Sources added that the agreement would allow for government institutions to restore their functions and operations inside the city. In a separate development, some militants in Wa...

The Case for the Breakup of the Ukraine

By The Saker Just as the corporate media is not reporting that the USA and Russia are on a collision course which can end up in nuclear war, the corporate media is not reporting that the Ukraine is falling apart. That does not mean, however, that this is not happening. It is. In fact, it has been for a long while already, but since that collapse is smoothed out by a lack of military action and by the political support of the Empire, it does not appear to be catastrophic (in the sense of causing a sudden dramatic change). But the signs are all over the place, ranging from the outright bizarre attack by Ukronazi saboteurs on Crimea (which, besides the group which was caught also involved at least two other groups conducting a diversionary reconnaissance by fire against the northeast of the Peninsula) to the quasi daily reports of an “imminent”, but apparently never coming, Ukronazi attack against the Donbass. On the political front, the Ukrainian Jeanne d’Arc, Nadezhda Savchenko, is now...

Day 9 of Turkey’s incursion into Syria

Day 9 of Turkey’s Euphrates Shield Operation saw the Free Syrian Army, the Turkish military and Turkey-backed Islamist proxies capture four villages from ISIS . The four villages captured were Sabuniyah east, Sabuniyah west, Tell Aghbar and Sha’inah, that all lay west of Jarablus. These advancements now being the Turkey-backed militants within 6km of Sarjur lake. Meanwhile in al-Rai however, ISIS recaptured 4 villages from the Turkey-backed militants putting a huge dent on there offensive to connect their areas of control in al-Rai and Jarablus. Interestingly however was the fact that days ago Turkey-backed Islamist proxies caught and tortured Kurdish YPG militants caught. In return, Islamist’s involved in the beating and torture were they themselves caught by the YPG . The Turkey military had no casualties with the Free Syrian Army and Islamist proxies only having 3 wounded from a land mine. No reports on YPG or ISIS casualties.

Israeli Think Tank: ISIS Serves Positive Function, Helps Fight Iran

An Israeli professor with expertise in middle eastern strategic issues and an adviser to the Israeli government on national security issues says ISIS is no worse than Iran and serves a positive purpose. Efraim Inbar is a professor of Political Studies at Bar-Ilan University and the director of the Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies, an Israeli academic think tank that carries out studies for the Israeli government and NATO. RT reports: Inbar published a controversial article where he argues that ISIS can play a role in undermining Iran, Hezbollah, Syria and Russia. The think tank’s director also claims that the continued existence of the terrorist group helps ‘bad guys to kill bad guys,‘ and the West should allow ISIS to exist even despite its brutality. RT: Why do you see the continued existence of ISIS as preferable to its destruction? Efraim Inbar: We have to recognize that the main source for instability and the main danger to peace in the Middle East is Iran. And ...

Tens of Thousands Of Scientists Declare Climate Change A Hoax

A staggering 30,000 scientists have come forward confirming that man-made climate change is a hoax perpetuated by the elite in order to make money. One of the experts is weather channel founder, John Coleman, who warns that huge fortunes are being made by man-made climate change proponents such as Al Gore. Natural News reports: In a recent interview with Climate Depot, Coleman said: “Al Gore may emerge from the shadows to declare victory in the ‘global warming’ debate if Hillary Clinton moves into the White House. Yes, if that happens and the new climate regulations become the law of the land, they will be next to impossible to overturn for four to eight years.” Climate change proponents remain undeterred in their mission, ignoring numerous recent scientific findings indicating that there has been no warming trend at all for nearly two decades. Al Gore’s dire predictions of the melting of polar ice on a massive scale have proved to be completely false. In fact, in 2014 – a year that...

The Death Toll in Yemen Is So High the Red Cross Has Started Donating Morgues to Hospitals

ALMOST A YEAR and a half into Saudi Arabia’s U.S.-backed bombing campaign in Yemen, the humanitarian toll has become so extensive that the International Committee of the Red Cross has taken the unusual step of donating entire morgue units to Yemeni hospitals. “The hospitals were not able to cope,” said Rima Kamal, a Yemen-based spokesperson for the Red Cross. “You could have more than 20 dead people brought into one hospital on one single day. The morgue capacity at a regular hospital is not equipped to handle this influx of dead bodies.” “At times several dead bodies had to be stored on one shelf to avoid further decomposition,” Kamal continued. “The situation was not sustainable.” Saudi Arabia began bombing Yemen in March 2015, after Houthi rebels took control of the capital and forced Yemen’s Saudi-backed leader, Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi, into exile. The United Nations has since attributed the majority of the war’s 6,500 deaths to the Saudi coalition, which the U.S. and U.K. have re...

Jund Al-Aqsa within 5 km of Hama City

Hama, Syria (12:40 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Jund Al-Aqsa (Al-Qaeda franchise), alongside their allies from the Free Syrian Army (FSA), reportedly captured the village of Khattab in northern Hama after a short battle with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). According to a military source in the province, the jihadist rebels quickly advanced south of Taybat Al-Imam to the nearby village of Khirbat Al-Hujamah, where they were once again able to overwhelm the Syrian Armed Forces. Following the capture of Khattab, Jund Al-Aqsa and their allies moved onto the key town of Khattab, where they were confronted by a small unit of Syrian Arab Army soldiers at the northern flank. Not long after the preliminary firefights at the northern flank of the town, the Syrian Armed Forces withdrew their units to the south in order to avoid being overrun by Jund Al-Aqsa and their allies. The jihadist rebels are now within 5 km of Hama City after cutting off the Mhardeh-Hama Road, which was a vital supply rout...
