The U.S. lawmakers have introduced  bipartisan legislation  that aims to improve missile defense capabilities of the United States. The U.S. Senators Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) introduced S. 2980 –  Integrated Missile Defense Act of 2018  on May 24, which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Armed Services.
