EUROPE
Nov. 18: EU agriculture and fisheries ministers will meet in Brussels.
Nov. 19: EU foreign ministers will meet in Brussels.
Nov. 19: The EU-Japan summit will take place in Tokyo.
Nov. 19: In France, trade unions plan to hold a strike to protest planned pension reforms.
Nov. 20: Negotiations over Iran's nuclear program are expected to take place in Geneva.
Nov. 21: In Portugal, police forces are expected to protest cuts in salaries and healthcare.
Nov. 21: The European Central Bank governing council will meet in Frankfurt.
Nov. 21: The EU-China summit will take place in Beijing.
Nov. 22: Eurozone finance ministers will meet in Brussels.
Nov. 23: Unions will hold anti-tax protests in Brittany, in northwestern France
Nov. 24: Switzerland will hold a referendum on limiting the pay of executives.
Nov. 24: Construction of the Serbian section of the South Stream natural gas pipeline is expected to begin.
FORMER SOVIET UNION
Nov. 19: The presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Serzh Sarkisian and Ilham Aliyev, will meet in Vienna to discuss conflict settlement negotiations.
Nov. 20: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is planning to travel to Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The leaders are expected to discuss the ongoing conflict in Syria, as well as the Iran nuclear talks.
Nov. 21: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin is expected to meet with the Georgian prime minister's special envoy for Russia, Zurab Abashidze, in Prague to discuss Russo-Georgian relations.
Nov. 22: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Russia to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss bilateral relations. Several Turkish government officials will accompany Erdogan on his trip.
Nov. 23: An international peace conference on Syria backed by Russia and the United States will take place in Geneva.
Nov. 24: Construction of Serbia's section of the Russia-initiated South Stream gas pipeline is expected to begin.
Nov. 24: Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is expected to leave his post.
ASIA-PACIFIC

Nov. 18: India and Indonesia will hold a three week military drill, with a platoon-level force of 40 men from each country participating.
Nov. 18-20: Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev will visit South Korea for talks with South Korean President Park Geun-hye. They will discuss ways to expand bilateral and international cooperation.
Nov. 20-22: New Zealand Prime Minister John Key will visit the Philippines.
Nov. 20-22: Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will visit Indonesia.
Nov. 20-29: Thai Princess Chulabhorn will visit Japan, where she will sign an agreement to promote exchanges of technical knowledge and students between the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute and Chiba University in Tokyo.
Nov. 21: China and the European Union will hold their fourth high-level strategic dialogue in Beijing.
Nov. 21-23: Lao President Choummaly Sayasone will visit South Korea for talks with President Park Geun-hye.
SOUTH ASIA
Unspecified date: Bangladesh's Election Commission will meet with President Abdul Hamid to discuss the elections tentatively slated for Jan. 15

Nov. 20: Pakistan's Tehreek-e-Insaf party leader Imran Khan has called for a shutoff of NATO supplies going into Afghanistan from this date to protest drone strikes.
Nov. 21: India's Assam and Manipur states will host a delegation of Myanmar state-level ministers and businessmen.
Nov. 21: Bangladesh's Garment and Wage Board will announce the details of its upward minimum wage revision.
Nov. 21-24: Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other Awami League leaders will travel to Saudi Arabia to perform the umrah.
Nov. 23-29: India will host a 300-person delegation of businesspeople from Belgium led by Princess Astrid.
MIDDLE EAST/NORTH AFRICA
Nov. 18: A court in Bahrain will give Khalil al-Marzouq, deputy leader of Wefaq, another hearing. Al-Marzouq was arrested in September and faces trial on charges that include inciting terrorism, although he was freed temporarily until this hearing.
Nov. 18: French President Francois Hollande will address Israel's Knesset next Monday during a regional tour that will include the Palestinian Territories. The Israeli president and prime minister will be present during his address.
Nov. 18: Lebanese President Michel Suleiman will visit Kuwait at the head of an official delegation to attend the Arab-African Union.
Nov. 18: Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, by invitation of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, is expected to pay an official visit to Washington for talks on bilateral relations and regional developments.
Nov. 20: Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu will be in Russia for a short working visit.
Nov. 20: Talks on Iran's disputed nuclear program will reconvene in Geneva.
Nov. 22: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Russia. Several Turkish government officials will accompany Erdogan on his visit to Moscow. The visit will be part of the regular top-level contacts between Russia and Turkey.
Nov. 22: King Mohammed VI of Morocco will visit the United States. Talks with U.S. officials will highlight Washington's support for Morocco's democratic and economic reforms.
AMERICAS
Unspecified date: Canadian oil company Petroamerica will being developing oil from its La Casona-1 prospect in Colombia.
Unspecified date: Petroleos de Venezuela will offer a $4.5 billion bond issuance.
Unspecified date: Peruvian Foreign Minister Eda Rivas will travel to Canada in order to prepare the way for Peruvian President Ollanta Humala's upcoming trip.

Nov. 18-20: A regional conference on industrial development and economic growth in Africa and the celebration of Africa Industrialization Day will be held in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Nov. 19: Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan is scheduled to present the national 2014 budget proposal before a joint session of the National Assembly.
Nov. 19: South Africa's Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union will meet with workers at the world's largest platinum producer, Anglo American Platinum Ltd., to vote on a planned strike.
Nov. 21: The trial of Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto and his co-accused, Joshua Arap Sang, will resume in the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Nov. 22: The African Union Political Affair Commission and Peace and Security Council will hold a joint meeting to discuss election and security concerns in Africa.
