Iran's Ministry of Intelligence announces arrest of fugitive Takfiri terrorists

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iran's Ministry of Intelligence has announced identification and arrest of fugitive elements of a Takfiri terrorist group in western Iran.

In a statement released today, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry has announced that the escaped terrorists were arrested on August 18 after surveillance and secret operations.

The report reads that following the destructive attack on Takfiri terrorists in the west of Iran on August 16 and 17, surveillance was carried out until fleeing members of the group were identified and apprehended only one day later on August 18.

Also in a joint operation by IRGC force in Najaf camp and Intelligence Ministry’s ‘Anonymous Forces’, other hideouts and depots of the terrorist group were discovered and large amounts of remote electronic kits, weapons, AK-74M, American Gun Motor Carriage M6, grenades, explosive belts and vests, electric detonators, bomb-making equipment as well as related supplies for terrorist acts inside the country.
