Six Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bombers have once again carried out a masssive strike on ISIS targets on the western bank of the Euphrates in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor, the Russian Zvezda TV channel reported on December 5.
According to the report, the strike hit weapons depots, strong points and gatherings of ISIS near the area of al-Sayyal. The strike supported the Syrian Army advance in the area. Earlier on the same day, government forces liberated the villages of Jalaa, Ramadi and Buq from ISIS on the western bank of the Euphrates.
