US President Donald  Trump has  reacted to the recent North Korea nuclear test  with another twitter storm. “The United States is considering, in addition to other options,  stopping all trade with any country doing business with North Korea ,” the US president claimed in one of the tweets. He added that South Korea’s “ talk of appeasement will not work ” and that  the North Korea government “only understand one thing!” . “North Korea is a rogue nation which has become  a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success ,” he said. Trump also said that he will have a meeting with “General Kelly, General Mattis and other military leaders at the White House to discuss North Korea.” These words correspond with the recent Trump’s claims that “ talking is not the answer ” in the case of the North Korea nuclear program. Brian Ferguson) On Sunday, Afghan officials from Jabal Saraj district announced that a key commander of the Taliban was killed in a US unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) strike in Ezat Khil area of Jabal Saraj district. The airstrike was conducted as a part of an attack of the Afghan Army backed by US-led coalition warplanes in Ezat Khil area, according to the officials. “Troops came from Kabul and they launched a military operation in Ezat Khil and the foreign troops also provided support from the air in which Mullah Agha Gul, a Taliban commander and one of his fighters, were killed,” Masoum Farzayee police chief of Jabal Saraj said. Captured ISIS members Peshmerga forces, a military force of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, have executed  a high number of ISIS members that had surrendered to or had been captured by Kurdish units north of the recently liberated town of Tal Afar  in northern Iraq. According to reports, the number of killed ISIS members is up to 400. If it’s officially confirmed, this will be a major blow to the public image of Kurdish forces in Iraq. Furthermore, the mass execution could easily boost support to ISIS and to trigger a series of terrorist attacks against soft targets in the Iraqi Kurdistan. On September 3, unknown gunmen tried to assassinate Abu Hamza, a general commander of the newly formed National Front for the Liberation of Syrian (NFLS). The gunmen shelled Abu Hamza car with machine guns on the road between al-Sahw and al-Musifrah villages in the eastern Daraa countryside, according to an official statement of the NFLS. However, Abu Hamza injury was light. He is now recovering. The NFLS was established on August 22 by 11 different Free Syrian Army (FSA) groups from southern Syria. North Korea has conducted a sixth nuclear test, the Japanese government said, a move the United States and its allies in the region are likely to view as a major provocation. Seismological data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) showed that an explosion caused a 6.3-magnitude tremor in the country's northeast, not far from the country's Punggye-ri nuclear test site.  If the initial data holds, it would make it the most powerful weapon that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, as the country is officially known, has ever tested. On August 31, the Pakistani Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Nafees Zakaria denied claims of General John W. Nicholson, commander for US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, that Pakistan is providing safe a heaven for Taliban members. Zakaria said that such safe heavens excite in Afghanistan itself, not in Pakistan. Furthermore, Zakaria revealed that there has been no official communication between the US and the Pakistani government since US president Donald Trump accused Pakistan of hiding terrorists. Islamabad relationship with Taliban goes back to the very foundation of Taliban in Afghanistan. However, it’s not likely that only the US has had no info about these relationships. Dilyana Gaytandzhieva is an investigative reporter authored a  report for Trud Newspaper , which found that an Azerbaijan state airline company was regularly transporting weapons to Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Turkey under diplomatic cover as part of the CIA covert program to supply militants in Syria.

On September 1, the Taliban news agency Voice of Jihad announced that the Taliban assassinated the director of the Afghan Intelligence Cirectorate in Chakhansur town, Bismllah Khan Hussiny, near the Iranian-Afghanistan border. According to Voice of Jihad, Hussiny’s car was targeted by Taliban fighters in Ismail roundabout in Zaranj city near the border with Iran. Voice of Jihad said that the former director of the Afghani intelligence directorate in Zaranj city, Ahmad Shah Salem, was in the car, and was also killed in the attack.
